Astra23 Security

Product · How it works

Connect, configure, and let the engine watch

No rip-and-replace. Astra23 layers on top of the camera infrastructure you already run.

Step 01 · Connect

Two ways to bring cameras in

RTSP / ONVIF direct

For modern IP cameras and NVRs. Point Astra23 at the stream and it starts analyzing. Most setups are live in under 15 minutes.

Bridge device

For older analog or closed DVR systems, a small bridge device connects the feed to Astra23 without rewiring your existing installation.

Step 02 · Configure

Rule-packs, not code

Pick the pack that matches your environment, then tune it visually on the feed — draw zones, set required PPE, adjust sensitivity per camera.

Site pack

Helmet, vest, harness rules, restricted zones, machine proximity.

Factory pack

PPE by zone, lockout/tagout monitoring, unauthorized-entry rules.

Home pack

Loitering, package theft, perimeter, and known-vs-unknown person.

Step 03 · Where processing happens

Edge or cloud — stated plainly

You choose where frames are analyzed. Edge processing keeps video local and only sends event metadata and short clips out. Cloud processing is simpler to deploy and scale. Either way, continuous raw footage is not streamed to us — only what a rule flags.

  • Edge: analysis runs on-site; only event clips and metadata leave the premises.
  • Cloud: streams analyzed in our secured environment; encrypted in transit.
  • Continuous background footage is never retained by default.
  • Low-confidence detections degrade to "caution," never a false "clear."
